Crown of Thorns

"Weaving a crown out of thorns, they placed it on His head...(MT 27:29) 

As I gaze upon this Crown of Thorns, I am reminded that our Lord was mocked and scourged as He gave His life for me. As I reflect upon this unbroken chain of thorns, grant that I may remain unbroken in my faith and love in times of difficulties, as our Lord has remained unbroken in His faith and love for me, ultimately sacrificing Himself for my sins."
